Vinh Ly graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelors in Science in Biology, Masters in Science in Cell Biology from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Temple University. During School, Dr. Ly was actively involved in charitable work done by the school. He highlights these charitable works as his most rewarding experiences to date. The charitable work included a mission trip to Whitehouse, Jamaica and Jeremie, Haiti. During those trips, he performed hundreds of extractions in very limiting conditions. While in school, Vinh was Treasurer of his class and actively involved in two dental fraternities: Alpha Omega, Xi Psi Phi. After completing his graduation requirements a year early, Dr. Ly continued to hone his skills by focusing on esthetic dentistry.
As a result, he took numerous continuing education courses offered at Temple University related to Cosmetic Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Ly is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Hudson County Dental Society, and the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA).
Dr. Ly completed a comprehensive 300 hour implant course at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine sponsored by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Dr. Ly was taught about new techniques and technologies related to implant dentistry as well as the management of implant dental complications.
Dr. Ly is very personable and caring and is determined to improve your dental health and appearance. Dr. Ly is also fluent in Vietnamese and Spanish, which he believes is one of his best traits as a dentist.
When he is not helping patients with their dental needs, Dr. Ly enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, going to the gym, and skiing.
